Steni approached Metro Branding with a brief asking to present four architectural functions of Steni facades: Identity, Integration, Information and Illusion. Our approach was to present these four functions in an animated film introducing a description of each function, three examples of Steni facades that could be used to achieve it, and a 3D representation of the atmosphere and unique expression this would express.
The target audience for these films were architects, therefore the 3D design direction was inspired by architectural models. The animation of each model is a playful way of showing how when the facades cover each building, it creates a unique identity.
The aim was so inspire architects to use Steni facades to create distinguished expressions that catered to the purposes of any type of building. The result was a flexible film used in many platforms that not only captured the creative process of architects, but showcased the possibilities of using Steni facades in architectural projects.
